Samsung Galaxy S4 price in France
Samsung Galaxy S series are probably one of the most popular smartphone series in the world, and they met their success with the first device of the series, the Samsung Galaxy S. This first device had been launched in February 2010, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It was the first high-end smartphone ever produced by Samsung, and it was a great success, being sold in over 30 million units until this very moment. The Koreans from Samsung sure found out that they have the recipe of success, and in that ideea they launched the Samsung Galaxy S2, the second high-end smartphone of the Galaxy S series.
Samsung Galaxy S2 came with a brand new design (it was the thinnest smartphone ever built back in that time) and significantly improved hardware and software (it was running Android Gingerbread 2.3.6, but shortly received update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4, and soon will be updated to Android Gingerbread 4.1.0) and it was being said that this is the “iPhone killer”. It sure did, because the people who got it were extremely happy with the choice they did, and the device got sold in over 20 million units until today. The Samsung Galaxy S2 was also launched at Mobile World Congress, this time in 2011.
At the 3rd device of the series, the Galaxy S3, things stood a bit different. Samsung improved the design (extremely appreciated by the critics), the software (it was base running the Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4) and the hardware (the Galaxy S3 is the first Samsung smartphone to feature a 1.4 GHz quad core processor and 2 GB of RAM). Again, everyone just loved it, and bought over 10 million units in less than 55 days.
We already know that the new high-end smartphone scheduled to come out in early 2013 will be called Galaxy S4, and it will certainly feature improved software and hardware. As they say regarding the price tag, the new Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available in France for only €649 at Orange and SFR.
